Castle Zagyg: Yggsburgh Supplements

Post by Troll Lord »

Greetings all Lords and Ladies of the East Mark!!

This will be the first official mention, I believe, issued from my offices, of a host of supplements being published by us for the city of Yggsburgh. These supplements are designed to flesh out the city of Yggsburgh and its immediate sub-burbs in intimate detail. In all there are 24 such books. They range between 36 and 48 pages each and cover all the neighborhoods of the city.

They are as follows:

YGGSBURGH TOWN SECTIONS DESIGNERS

DISTRICT

1. CITADEL END

2. GRAND TEMPLE & COLLEGE DISTRICT

3. BHURGHERS QUARTER

4. GRAY FRIARS

5. BRIDGEGATE MARKETS

6. HIGH GARDENS

7. JEWEL DISTRICT

8. RIVERGATE QUARTER

9. EAST CORNER

10. THE DARGS (darg is slang for daily work)

11. STOREHOUSE DISTRICT

12. MOATGATE QUARTER

13. TOWN HALLS DISTRICT

14. WEST MARKET SECTOR

15. THE RAKES

16. THE MANORS

17. GAMING DISTRICT

18. WORKMENS SECTOR

19. MIXED COMPANY DISTRICT

THE OUTS DETAILED DISTRICTS

20. RIVERMENS TOWN

21. EAST ROAD & THE INSIDERS

22. THE MILLS & SCALESBANK

23. HOOKTON, THE FIVE FARMS, & Ys CEMETARY

24. WATERGATE BRIDGE & NEWTOWN

These books were written by a hand picked team (picked by Gary Gygax) and edited by Jon Creffield (author of many Lejendary Adventure modules and other LA material). Gary Gygax has been working with each author closely of course to ensure that each book is written and designed in accord with his own design philosophy.

The books are complete and edited, waiting for layout and art direction. Peter Bradley has been assigned as the chief artist and cartographer.

These books will be released as pdfs later this summer in batches of four and later developed into full blown print publications. They will be released in conjunction with other East Mark material.

Look for more information as the projects come together.

And now the authors can finally start bragging and pimping. I'll start, though I wasn't an author... just a lowly "special consultant" whose job it was to be annoying. :) Hehe. From what I have seen, these look awesome.
