Okay this is just too funny....

Post by Troll Lord »

I don't normally post anything about the many and varied crazy things that happen to Davis, Peter, Mark and myself whilst working for this crazy company, but this is just too funny.

On Tuesday we had a bit of a flood that engulfed the mail room and my office. Lots of stuff came up from the underground pipes...not poo, just other various and sundries. So we've had to completely dismantle the mail room and cart all the product, boxes and other stuff all over. Its in my office, up on tables shelves and other stuff. Presently, I'm working on the updates, trying to catch up on orders and quarterlies. A small troop of plumbers are ripping holes in walls and floors in order to fix the pipes in the mail room next door. I am covered in TLG stuff, I can't move that I don't trip over it, phone keeps ringing, plumbers are jack-hammering, Johnny Cash is blaring away in the back ground and somewhere I hear a baby crying....
I'm going to get a pic of this and post it later, its really kind of funny!!

And only a little distracting.

Steve

I should copy and paste this whenever anyone brings up, "Why is Troll Lords always so late with product?"

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Sounds like a GREAT day!. I'd hate to see a truly bad day in the life of Steve. That would probably take communist Soviets taking over the country though...

Dude, I went for a swim in the mail room, the water was JUST RIGHT!!!! Oh, word to the wise: Dont go to TLG HQ unless you want to help Steve paint walls, he is a man on a mission. It'll look right nice once it's done.

Heh, somehow this made me think of ACDC:

Somewhere a clock strikes midnight

And there's a full moon in the sky

You hear a dog bark in the distance

You hear someone's baby cry

A rat runs down the alley

And a chill runs down your spine

Someone walks across your grave

And you wish the sun would shine

No one's gonna warn you

And no one's gonna yell Attack

And you don't feel the steel

Till it's hanging out your back!

Best D&D song ever, btw.
