Beowulf trailer?
Beowulf trailer?
Has anyone else seen it? What do you think?
Looks sorta cool but I'm a little disappointed by some of the casting choices. For example, although Angelina Jolie is certainly HAWT, she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag; Crispin Glover doesn't deserve to be in any movie at all (if the world was a fair place, he ought to be scrounging through KFC dumpsters for his meals); and Anthony Hopkins has got to be one of the most overrated actors of all time (the guy can only play ONE character, no matter what the story may be).
I'm also a little distressed by the fact that they're saying the main theatrical release of the movie will only be PG-13, while the "3D" version and the DVD releases will both be NC-17. As far as I'm concerned, that means the main theatrical release won't be worth watching. I don't need any censored, dumbed-down version of the movie, and I'm not rewarding the movie's makers by throwing money at it.

I'm kind of dissapointed that the CGI looks like the actors. I mean, the trailer doesn't look bad, and Angelina Jolie is smoking hawt with CGI overlay, but that really hurts the suspension of disbelief for me. Hopefully the movie will be damn awesome and I'm looking forward to it, but not as much as I once was.

I think the visuals are nice. While I hate Angelina "Lips From Hell" Jolie, the other casting choices are good ones in my opinion.
Whether the movie will be good or not....that remains to be seen. I reserve judgment until I've seen it.

Haha, well said. And who knows, this could be Angelina's perfect vehicle to showcase and proof to us, how great her acting skills are!!! NOT!
The movie does look like a potential rental.
