Erol Otis at GenCon

Post by Treebore »

Doing signings via Goodman Games.

Now I am depressed.
So Gary is Guest of Honor and Erol Otis is going to be there too. Plus all the TLG, Paizo, and Goodman goodies being released. Plus, having now gone to a GenCOn, and knowing how awesomely fun it is anyways, yeah, seriously depressed.
I wish I knew someone rich enough to give me $3,000 so my daughter and I could go.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I guess I'd like to see it for a day or so.

I see that Dave Arneson, Tracy and Laura Hickman and Rob Kuntz will be there as well, listed as Industry Insider guests.

Don't feel bad, I put off buying the passes until it was too late and other things came up *read: bills*. I will be resurfacing my driveway while all the Gen Con happiness is going on this year. I remembered to take vacation for it but not buy the passes *headdesk*.

Next year, I getting the silly things the day they go on sale so I don't screw this up again. Unless I get a mystery check *and someone to resurface the driveway in my absence, lol* I won't be attending either.

Erol Otus is seriously my favorite old school artist. His art means D&D to me since I was like, 12.

I'll have to stop by the Goodman games booth to see him that's pretty cool.
