Everyone does know about the TON of free 2E PDF's for FREE

at WOTC's website, right?

If not, look here:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads

They have been available since 2000, but I am still amazed that so many people apparently don't know about them.

So check it out if you haven't.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Note that a few are in .rtf format... I have used the Bone Hill module for several things- the town, the wilderness, etc. It's very useful even if you don't use the dungeon.

I had seen that before, but for some reason, I forget about it. Thanks for the reminder!

Actually, I grabbed the ones I wanted from there and ignored the rest. Things like the original Palace of the Silver Princess. I grabbed Needle...I think. I have the tournament version of Needle which was reprinted in Polyhedron very early on in that magazine's run, so I may or may not have grabbed it.

Maztica, Dungeonland, and Land Beyond the Magic Mirror I know I have. Ivid the Undying I have, but I didn't get it from Wizards. Someone, and I don't remember who, took the entire document, with maps, and reformatted it to look and feel like a 2E product. Someone did the same thing with the copy of the Savage Coast (Red Steel) campaign setting that I have.

While this stuff isn't of the caliber of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks or Keep on the Borderlands, in most cases, it's good. Best of all, it's free.

I tracked the stuff down early on... I wish they would have done the rest with the majority of their old 'unsupported' material.

Have known of them since they first went up. Not that I needed them, but they're ok, for what they are.
