CKG to the rescue

Post by mordrene »

With the latest announcement of 4e, and for the sake of my ADND DMG (old girl seen better times) is everyone else as giddy as a schol girl for the release of "Castles & Crusades: Castle Keepers Guide."

That just felt good to type.

There are few books I eagerly anticipate. This is one.

I would certainly like to see it. The Trolls are getting this one done right, so it might be a little wait. Looking forward though.

Should only be another month or two. They didn't get it done for GenCon, but claimed it should be out during the Fall. So October-November at the latest.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

We're definitely working hard to get it out there for you guys. We have some good folks working on it and I think It'll turn out great. I jacked my jaw at Case about it for a bit and we're looking forward to it.

I have a birthday coming up in October so that timing would work out quite well if it could be managed
Seriously, I'm going to need reading material for a work trip in the middle of Oct but if nothing else, I would like to have it for Christmas if nothing else.

Uhh, yeah. If you add thug and rogue afta "gansta" then I think you'll know what I'm talkin' about (n -word).

[Ass -ide. My daughter has been playing some of the latest real "sh*T" musi , , , STOP. Not music. Some of the latest Sh*t on the airwaves . . and everything is - swearing, N- word, drugs, biotches/hoes, F word etc.

OK, yeah the rappers love to JOLT you and the white burb white chicks love it, BUT, BUT well but, I know the kids try to shock us parents and stuff, but how about shocking us with fantastic music and lyrics with intellectual references, so you can learn something. D'OH!!! You know, Beatles, Doors, Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, The Who et. al.]

While I'll be glad to see it in print I can't say I'm overly excited about it. I'm just overly excited by crunch.

Some parts of it I'm really interested in, other parts...eh, not so much.

Regardless, it looks like it will be an excellent addition to the line.

Now CZ stuff....

THAT's what I'm eagerly awaiting.
