That one's a keeper.

Dude, Davis is a keeper. He was probably about to bust a rhyme for us at this point.

BTW, I curse all you vendor guys thinner* who got a copy of TALISMAN 4e. Y'all were allowed in the room before the general public (LIKE ME). 4 days of trying to get some talisman tail and nothing.

Dammit.

Gary was so swamped by fans that he hardly had time for a break
Otherwise I would have enhoyed shooting the breeze with those at the TLG booth.

Where were those lovely sailing ships, and why were there fantasy figures in the pic with them?!
Cheerio,

Gary

Dude, McBain and I *SO* took advantage of the Exhibitor Badge and got in line 10 minutes early on thursday. We were STILL about 12 persons back in line, but we got our copies and THEY FREAKIN ROCK. We were gonna get back in line the next day for additional copies but we kept hearing that they were kicking people out of line if they recognized them from previous purchases of Talisman.

Now that blonde that you loved so much, she isn't the one Peter and Casey was talking about around the corner with the weapon, is she? Saw no weapon. So if she isn't, why no pics?

Are you talking about this pic?:

That's Pirates from Wizkids. It's a fun game that my wife and i like playing over beers while having friends over.

That particular photo was taken in rooms 101-106 where Wizkids was setup running all kinds of events. It was Saturday night and i realized that there was a whole area of the con that i hadn't seen yet. So after we closed the booth down for the night, i took 30 minutes or so wandering the convention center taking pictures.

That's one of the things that amaze me about Gencon. So many people have such varying experiences at the con. Some people do nothing but literally play games for 4 days. Some come to meet with friends and hang out. Some come to shop till they drop. Others spend their time working to get their product to the masses. Either way, Gencon is this fantastic, organic, thing of it's own, that continues to amaze me year after year.

GenCon is completely worth going to if you can afford to go. Which I could not do this year (DARN in-laws/family!!)

I hope you make it next year, Treebore. Twas fun. I did very little gaming though. The extent of my gaming was with Casey Christofferson's new mass combat rules for C&C, which turned out to be great fun. I wish we'd had more time for gaming, but we were swamped.

The mass battle rules were fun to run for you guys! Everything looked so good for me and Michael to start with, what with the massive buildup, the trolls, the grenade hurling goblins.

It all pretty much went poopy about the time Hudson charged the formation... by himself, forcing a general counter attack by the PCs.

Great fun. It was the extend of my gaming too, but if your only gonna get one game in at Gen Con it should be a great one!

I agree. I just want to say that the attention you pay to background detail is stunning. The pics of your large prints make me want to ask what kind of prices you had on them (I don't remember seeing prices on your site).
