So am I special or what?

I had a friend pick up the CZ Folio at Gencon this year.

got number 57 out of 300.

I was wondering though.... Wasn't EGG supposed to sign it, or did you have to go up and bug him... My friend is not a C&C fan, and old-school fan so he wasn't aware of any signing rules and wasn't all that interested in meeting Gary (harumph!)..

Also, can't remember which one, but it had 3 covers all nicely stapled together..

Wowsa!! a special, special edition
Cheers

Congrats! I'm not sure if they were signed or not, but I had my copies personalized by EGG at that time.

guess, not being a collector of anything, I'm wondering what useful purpose just having 57 of 300 in pen on my inside cover has/does, considering I could have done that at home...

From the TLG Front page: "The East Mark Gazetteer will be a little late as we ran out of some of the component parts to it and have to get more in. That thing went like wild stock at Gencon. But dont worry, those of you who ordered get signed and numbered copies"

cheers,

J.

JMAN, if it is numbered it shouldve been signed on the OUTSIDE of the front cover. If not, then I dunno what is up with that!

nope, not signed ... and one of the folio books has 3 covers on it..

That must have slipped through the cracks. Gary's sig should be on the front cover. He was signing them at the show.

We'll arrange shipping to have your copy shipped to Gary for his sig dadeo. I"ll drop you a PM shortly.

Jman, you're more than special. :) [and I mean that in a non-sarcastic way.]

You've got one of the new TLG releases.

yup. happy about the releases. was really unsure about the Eastmark folio at first, but then I decided to get it anyway, and I'm glad that I did.

Also, the Wilderlands stuff is great!!!

Cheers,

J.

You worries wash away when you are graced by the radiance of the Eastmark divinity. Know the Folio. Live the Folio.

Both of the folios sold excellently at Gen Con and for good reason. They are packed with gaming goodness for a very reasonable price. If you didn't get the Airdhe folio and you want some great streamlined setting information or just something to spark your imagination and mine ideas from, pick it up at your next opportunity. I am almost positive you won't be dissapointed!

A co-worker of mine went to GenCon and did get a shopping list of stuff for me from the Trolls. I got the Eastmark Gaz folio, (#47) and Gary's sig is right there on the front..

I hit Nerdvana..

PLUS the gaggle of stuff he brought back.. man.. got the 1e conversion of the DCC Witch Queen modules.. (which are fun to read, but.. seriously.. for 4th-6th level adventurers.. having 2 monsters in the 1st adventure (of 3) having 130 and 150 hit points.. that is not good)

I am glad I have it, but.. oowwtch! (gonna get modified pronto).

If it helps, many of us are "special" too:

The EM folio will be slightly delayed as Gary only signed about 150 of the 300.

Hopefully, we'll all get them soon!

I'd care [more] if you would post a review of the Mouths of Madness. Those of us who don't have the folio are dying for a decent review, but those of you who do have it seem to be discussing it from within The Cones of Silence. Give us what we want or we will laugh at your sorrow!
