basic/expert elf

I seem to recall these guys being more of a class than a race.

Fighter/magic user?

Anyone house ruled them as such?

Yes it was. So was the Dwarf and Halfling. I've already done all the elves in the M&T as classes, ill start in on the dwarf, halfing and gnome variants at some point.

Some race class variants will appear in the forthcoming C&C basic set.

I worked on two versions, a high elf (fighter/magic user) and a wood elf (fighter/druid). When I heard about the C&C basic with race/classes I put my own work on hold.

Did my own already, posted about them, and some people seemed to like them ok, I guess.

I'd love to see the racial classes come out with the CKG. Its the primary thing I want the CKG for.

Yup. My race classes are based upon them.

Well, most everything in my campaign world seems to be based on something Serleran's offered.

I use racial class in my home C&C games, and based them almost directly off the Mentzer Basic/Expert rules. Of course had to explode the ideas a bit as presented to fit within the frame work of the C&C game.

They came out pretty good, so they're in my home games.

Thanks. Not sure I deserve that, but thanks.

If anyone is interested in seeing my race classes, just go to Raven's Keep and look them up in The World of the Doldrums. :)

Or, I can link.
