Unfortunately not in any significant way, but I least I have met the father via the father of my sister in law. So at least I finally know, or knew somebody, who won big. Even if it is pretty vicariously.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Its just kind of cool that someone I know is real, and exists, won one of these lotto's Jackpots. I've known people who have won thousands, even had a co worker who won $200,000 when I was a teacher, but never a multi-million dollar jackpot winner. Let alone $100 Million+, before Taxes.

Probably only $2.00 after taxes.

That is pretty neat. Now you can tell them they have no more excuses to play C&C.

Neat. By extension, we all sort of know you, and so, we sort of know them.... so, umm, can I borrow like $50? :)

my best friends father-in-law won 6.6mln 2 months ago.... up here in Canada, you keep what you win, so a 6.6mln jackpot means you get a tax-free cheque for 6.6mln.

him and 2 other friends split a 20mln jackpot.. pretty sweet

Cheers,

J.
