Clueless

So, I go to Walmart today in order to refill my prescription. As I'm walking towards the pharmacy I hear Rockstar by Nickelback. Its a bit muffled but audible and I think to myself, "Sweet, I love that song."

As I continue along the song fades. Picking up my prescription I head over to electronic to check something out when I hear Rockstar again. Bobbing my head to the beat I look around to see where its coming from but don't see anything.

As I continue on my way the song fades again.

Heading back to the front to leave I hear Rockstar for a third time. I think, "Weird." I reach into my pocket to see if I can figure out this new -fangled cell phone I got so I can call the wife and let her know I'm on my way home and it dawns on me....

My ringtone is Rockstar.
So I answer the phone.

Hello?

Wife: Whats up? I keep calling but you weren't answering.

Me: I umm, I was seeing if it'd play the song all the way through.

Wife: Yeah. Right. Couldn't figure out how to answer the call?

Me: Sure, thats less embarrassing than the truth.

I finally move into the modern age and got a cell phone last month. For all the good its doing me, I'm still clueless.

HAHAHAH!!

I just got a cell last month myself. Course, Im cheap. I didn't get one of the 2 year plans. I just do the 'pay as you go thing.

Yeah, I'm cheap too and just got one of those AT&T "Go Phones" or whatever they are called.

Can ya blame him? Thats how the government tracks you! It's a tracking device you pay for the honor of having. Big Brother is genius....pure genius.

I find it immensely funny that song ringtones are usually more expensive than buying the mp3 of the song itself.

I don't carry a cell phone to call people - I carry it so that other people can call me.

It's also got some neat games that are good for killing five or ten minutes and serves as an extremely accurate clock.
