Crusaders in Central Indiana!

Post by Troll Lord »

Hello folks,

I got this email from a bunch up in Noblesville Indiana:
Good morning,

Just wanted to give a heads up to your group that we will be demonstrating the game Castles and Crusades at Reader Copies Two in Noblesville, IN in October. We are very excited about the game system and look forward to having a large attendance for the day. I have not yet heard from your organization if you will be able to send a local representative to assist with this event. If not, we understand and will be glad to direct interested players to your website.

Thank you very much.

Ken Goad

Is anyone able or willing to wander by and give a hand? If so drop me note or post here on the boards!

Thanks,

Steve

I know Ken personally, he's a really great guy and very dedicated when it comes to promoting RPGs to new players.

So, if this is taking place in Indiana, why are we looking for people in Illinois? ;)

There's a few C&Cers from that neck of the woods (Bloomington and up) on Dragonsfoot I believe (iirc). Check for Dr Rotwang if he's still active.

Maybe so, but you can't drive worth a damn!
Did you know that when I moved to Wisconsin from Indiana I discovered that the Cheeseheads here have the same terminology for Illinois drivers? Must be something in the water down there...

Note that the very year after I moved from Indiana to Wisconsin, Gen Con moved from Milwaukee to Indiana. Yes, I am cursed...

Cause we grow corn on both sides of the river (and dig out the coal that is under the corn and pump out the oil that is under the coal)!

Now that I've relocated to Salem, IL I've been told that I'm now in "South Central Illinois." In fact, just figured out last week that I'm only 2.5 hours from Indianapolis. I could have gone to GENCON!

C&C demo in Noblesville, IN

Post by Hawkwinter »

Saturday Oct 27th: Ran 3 introductory scenarios of Castles and Crusades for people at the Reader Copies TWO in NOblesville, IN.

Everything went great!! People had a awesome time, and we helped move some product as well. Made a lot of converts outta people who are looking for better things now that WotC has become confused in its course.

Thanks for all the great ideas I got from these boards, and I look forward to convincing more people to try this GREAT game system!!
