Anyone having trouble with freeyabb.com/TLG forums today?

I've been having trouble this morning and afternoon here on the forums. Slowness, pages not loading and other weirdnesses. Anyone else having trouble?

Yes. For a few days now. The porblems are sporatic. At times they work just speedy fine, at others they grind down to a near halt.

Me too. It started today. Very slow loading pages and the one post that I submitted never actually finished. Though I did come back later and the post did make it onto the board.

I think freeabb.com crashed. I couldn't this site or another on freeabb for 15 minutes or so.
Right now it's very, very slow to navigate.

Must just be something on your end, mate. I'm not having a single problem.
Clear your cache and such and dump some spyware. That might work.

Seems to be working OK for me.

That's because you're in OK, where everything is OK. OK?
Seems to be running a bit faster now but I've no other issues with the other 20-30 sites I've hit today, so methinks freeabb.com had an issue. But it only lasted for a short time, so back to posting and such!

Not really, but I removed the forums as a favorite earlier, by mistake. Seems the location of them on the website has moved slightly as well.

Or could simply be glitchy server-side problems. It happens.

I can't type. It's a recurring problem with every website.

Major slowness right now ~ 1 P.M. central time. I'm outta here to get some lunch and then come back later.

Seems to be much better now. Sorry, probably just my rotten cable service.

Well, is it just me? I seem to experience major slow downs around noon time. It's happening now after taking about 20 minutes to login. Happened yesterday on and off.
I have no other issues with any other site, except one other that's on freeyabb.com

It happens everyday between 11 - 2 PM EST. The site crawls to a halt. I think freeyabb has a bandwidth limit and, since it is "lunch time" for many people, they get hit hard, and can't handle it. The host needs an upgrade. I hope they don't guarantee 24/7 service... or, they're a bunch of liars.

I've had these insane slowdowns in non-peak hours as well. Quite late at night, even.

Wow, what happened here today? Mebbe, someone forgot to feed the trolls in the dungeon running the server and they revolted???

Seems the main freeyabb.com site was, and possibly still is, having slow down problems. Might have had a ripple effect?
Seems they've been having 'glitchy problems'. ^_~`

The goblinoid games forum (also freyabb) was down for much of the day too, so it wasn't just here.

Don't worry. No one's said anything earth shattering in the last few hours.

A touch relieved that I wasn't the only one experiencing this problem. At work, when I get a couple secs break time, I usually dial up this site to see what the latest news is. For several days this past week, the forum link either refused to work at all or was very, very slow in loading - as in slow enough that my breathing space was over by the time it actually did finish. I haven't had any recurring problems since Friday, so hopefully this indicates that the difficulties were either a temporary glitch or have since been addressed from Messers Chenault's end.

There's naught we can do about it on this end. Its a
www.freeyabb.com problem.

this is a freeyab issue not a tlg on
they are installing a new server today so expect more problems to and probably in the near future as things adjust

Sometimes, yesterday afternoon in particular, the php server-side scripts don't process properly; instead the server tries to send me the script. It is, after all, just a text file. (That'll happen if php processing is turned off, and I'm not sure when else...)

Hey that sounds great. At least they are making efforts to deal with growth/slowness and such!
