Adventurer The Card Game

Post by Troll Lord »

Hey Folks,

From Kerry Bourgoine's newly minted press comes Adventurer the Card Game. Some of you may have met Kerry at LGGC, Winter Con or Gencon. The game is a lot of fun, check it out.

Fantastic, I'll be buying this. And I got my free Adventurer Comic Book to read after dinner, yeah!

This looks and sounds cool (from the tidbits I've heard before). When is this thing going to be out?

I wonder what the replay factor is on this. How many times can you go kill the vampire?

308 so far, and counting. Oh, wait, that's I6: Ravenloft.

Haven't played this, but I imagine it'll be easy to modify, and modifications always allow replay.

Never did get to play in Ravenloft. Downside of always being the friggin' DM. Had the module some 20 years ago, never put the characters through it though. I should have.

I like this part:
Quote:
The 80 beautifully illustrated cards represent rooms within the castle, magical

weapons, dangerous monsters, traps,

I'm a sucker for nice artwork. One of many reasons to love C&C, too.

The card game is super easy to learn, and quite fun. This game has limitless possibilities with expansion sets.

Kerry Bourgoine has a hit here!

I just got an email this morning from K.R. saying that the game is now out. Just thought I would pass on the news.

You missed another chance when I ran it online this past November for three different groups. They appeared to enjoy themselves and two of them even made it to victory. The first time anyone has beaten my Ravenloft. So Ravenloft is now 11 and 2.

Cool sounding card game.

Thank you for the kind responses. It is true, the game is out and with that in motion I am focusing on putting the final touches on the first exspansion.

More details on that soon.

This game is gonna be a hit, and is so ripe for expansions. Good times were had at GenCon. Goona even going to get the wifey to play (and trust me, that's a feat to do and a lot to say about this game!!!)

Will need to get this, since I miss card games that aren't MtG. I have high hopes this gives me that extra-super-cool "RuinsWorld" feel.

Thanks for the support! I also threw into your package an extra present, a very lmited prototype card that the printers gave me. Maybe someday it will be a collector's item, if not, well you have an additional cool looking card.
