Fantasy Grounds C&C Conversion

Well, I have been playing with this software for a few weeks now, and it is amazing! It works well, is fast, and has a beautiful interface that catches the eye but doesnt distract from the gaming experience. The version I played with last night appears to be the final or close to the final version and works quite well. I also want to give a shout out to Kevin Melka and the Digital Adventures crew for making the Savage Worlds conversion, which I picked up last night and also appears excellent. I just wish more of my buddies had copies of Fantasy Grounds II and these conversions. I am in the process of convincing a couple of the guys, and hope that the other offsite players I have will also see the value in this package. Anyone who wants a great virtual tabletop experience should consider this a top option.

I started looking at this but the finalized C&C conversion may tip the scales and finally get me to pony up some cash.

Greetings All!

I wanted to let everyone know that with the exception of minor things like README files, FAQs, and a press release we are done with this initial ruleset project! For those of you (like moriarty777) who may still be on the fence, here is what you'll get with this purchase:

1) The C&C ruleset interface featuring Peter's artwork (I posted a screen shot like in another thread), along with the character sheet or course.

2) Library modules of the complete Player's Handbook and Monsters & Treasures.

3) Mini-tokens ripped from all the interior art, where appropriate. This includes PC races from the PHB, and monster entries from M&T, coming to over 170 tokens in all!

4) The adventure THE RISING KNIGHT, converted to an easy to use FGII module.

5) Price point will be in the $10 - $12 range, awaiting final approval from the head troll.
If everything goes right, we should have it posted for sale in the next few days. You'll be able to find it first at my online store at: http://www.digitaladventures.net/catalog/.

Cheers!

I would say a lot more than interesting - I would say very exciting. I have to echo Breakdaddy. Fantasy Grounds is a remarkable interface. Intuitive and pretty - it really mimics the tabletop feel. For those of us forced to play over distance, it's a god send.

Can't wait for the release, Kevin. And the tokens are a great additional feature.
