C&C Gaxmoor?
C&C Gaxmoor?
This has been discussed before... Any progress on a C&C conversion?
If it's not going to happen, I'm going to buy a second copy of it to pencil in my own conversions in the margins...

I don't remember hearing anything about a C&C conversion. Looking at the first few monsters I would say it would be easy to do on the fly.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I remember it being discussed. But, like most pre-C&C Airdhe/TLG material it doesn't seem like a priority. That said I seem to remember that the Gygax boys are busy with other things and gaming is not one of them. Conversion is easy enough and Gaxmoor can also be used as a skeleton for your own things to be added as well.

Eventually. Got no idea on even a remote hint of a release date though.

Thanks Peter.. Since I'll likely want to run Gaxmoor before the C&C conversion sees the light, I went ahead and ordered another copy tonight from Noble Knight -- Aaron's practically giving them away, which seems a shame because it's a superb module (big, fat, sloppy d20 stat blocks aside...).
Also picked up a Codex of Erde for a great price as well, and there's another minty one there, for anyone interested..

I've thought about picking up Gaxmoor but haven't been able to look at it in hand. So you think it's a pretty good module?
Thanks,
Bill

Hey Bill. Hope you don't mind me giving some thoughts. Although I would like to hear what Joe or anyone else thinks about the mod.
It's definitely got the ancient Rome look and feel to it along with the dark evil elements of a magic fantasy world.
Cool enounters, loads of descriptive info, building cartography, monsters, spells.
A very excellent "Lost City".
Note: Gaxmoor fans, don't forget about the prelude ~ Search for a Lost City by Gary in the Codex of Erde!

Thanks Rhuvein,
Sounds pretty cool!
I've been eyeing the Erde/Aihrde stuff for awhile now, it's definately tempting! Have you run Gaxmoor yourself?
Thanks again,
Bill
No haven't run it yet, it's on the list. For some reason I was thinking that I needed to have my group level up, but after looking at the mod again, I'm reminded that PCs can go from 1 to 10th level.
So that's good, I could probably drop it in my current campaign at any point.
