Have you seen this? It seems it was ready for commercial release, but then was cancelled. I started giving a read, and it is very, very interesting.

Yeah, it's a good link that. The Main Rule Book seems completely finished, the other downloads aren't as nice, but worth a look.

This game suffers in that it has nothing to do with Glorantha OR RuneQuest except the name and thus wouldn't have appealed to either segment of the RuneQuest fanbase. Other than that it seems to be a very playable system.

I agrre, in fact "suffers" is a relative term; I never liked the RuneQuest system, so I gave a look only because the setting seemed interesting. Instead, I found that the system is really nice. Very rules-light, seems ideal for a S&S game. I was thinking about adapting it for a Conan game...
