Christmas sale?

Post by Julian Grimm »

Just wondering if there are plans for this? I had to endure going out on Black Friday and I hope some TLG goodness will erase the memories.

Nice dream. It wouldn't help me too much. I already own the entire regular C&C line except a few of the newer modules.

C&C is nice priced anyway. Every day is a sale with these guys.

hehehe... It seems like only a couple of weeks since TLG has caught up from their last batch of pre-orders and sale.

With replacement copies of the two Yggsburgh Town Modules inbound, I'm up to date with my C&C collection. As for other TLG products, I've gotten my hands on their d20 Erde material and a few other odds and ends but nothing else is pressing at the moment. However, I do have my eye on a couple of things.

I'm only 3 items short of being fully caught up on C&C, but a sale to help catch up further on LA stuff and the "Builder" books would be nice. Still, it wouldn't do me any good because I don't see me able to spare any more money on gaming untl after Christmas.

A March Madness Sale would probably work much better for me.

Wish I was still active duty military instead of medically retired.

Sale won't help me either, but it's always nice. I could probably use a 2nd PHB3 anyways. As for Black Friday... yeah, I was out at 7:00am to get a few good deals. Depending on how you view things though, all of the early morning sale items I picked up were for... ME!

Hehe, I was out standing in line at Circuit City at 5AM. Got myself a nice Compaq laptop (originally priced at $800 for $585) and a Verizon wireless internet card. The only bad part was having to wait 3 1/2 hours to check out because some people in the computer line at the FireDog desk were shmuck's. Its so nice to be able to log onto the internet from work, like I'm doing right now.

I got a really good deal at Best Buy. Got a new powerful PC with a flat screen for a steal, plus another $100.00 off for signing up with QWEST internet service, which I was going to do at the end of the month anyway. Ha, win win in my case.

Black Friday is one of those things I never, ever do.

I'd rather pay full price than subject myself to the mass of knuckleheads.

What was cool though, is I didn't have to face the early morning crowds. I just came in a little later and still got a very good deal! Things had calmed down by 10 a.m., at least at our store here.

Where I was, even mentioning the desire to go out on Friday was asking for a boot to the head. I ordered 5.

My biggest problem is that I respond poorly to people acting like jackasses. Any money I saved would likely be spent by my wife for bail money.

So, knowing myself. I stay indoors that day.

Game Master ~ combat pad/initiative tracker (thanks to Tree)

Secret of Smuggler's Cove.

I also ordered some plastic minis - hope to get some more dragons.
