Got some good deals!

Post by ironbull »

Just gotta' share. I just picked up a hard cover Rules Cyclopedia in very good condition off eBay for $20 - that includes the shipping charge. I also just got 17 old Dragon magazine issues (pre-3.x edition) for a buck each. Yep, that includes shipping too.

I rarely find steals on eBay, but I think I got my money's worth on these two auctions. Just wanted to share.

eBay is very worth "hunting" on as long as your patient. I have one many (over 6) large lot auctions where I got what I wanted out of it and resold on eBAy what I didn't what. For more than what I ought the original lot for.

Like I bought a lot of L5R 3E Core D10 rule books, kept 4 of them for my family, and re sold the rest for an over all profit of $10.00.

I love to buy lots on eBay. Even if I don't want 75% of it because its always cheaper (shipping can get nasty, but its better than buying individually, usually) and I get to look at stuff I might not otherwise have seen, sometimes deciding I wanted it after all.

Every once in a while, eBay has a deal or two. Good pick up.

I know what you mean. I have had a search set up to catch all the Rules Cyclopedias on eBay for over two years now. I must have bid on and lost fourty of the things - mainly because I am so cheap.

Ebay can be fun. Good deals... obscure stuff.

As some of you know, I was looking at the old D&D Companion Set. I won a bid for the books today. Great shape but no box. Picked both up for $3.50

Of course with shipping, it'll be closer to $10 but I'm still not complaining!
