By getting 5 of your friends to buy it.

Board members count?
But, seriously, I'll look into it. Have some stuff to take care of first, but I can probably swing it.

Haha, my wife and I played and I ran . . . I ran away with the game. I kicked ass - +8 on attacks. Lodrac was crying when he saw me enter the crypt. I had some fun with his vampire brides!!
Great game, great art.

Next up, the nephews (3 to 4, heh if they all show up for our next gaming session, I won't even be able to play!!) ~ that should be a kick!!

+8?? Did you get the ultimate combo? the Holy Book and the Two Handed sword? Its rare to get but if you do, you are right, Lodrac is wimpering in a corner!

Heh, sweet vampire brides (very hot!). Actually it was the crossbow and holy book. I hope that's OK to stack the xbow with the HB. I was down to my last (of 4) use of the crossbow, but methinks I had a +3/+4 weapon as well - to add to my high attack roll.

It's great when one player has boat load of magic, armor, weapons, potions etc. and the other guy/girl doesn't have squat!!

Yup, you can stack the Holy Book with the crossbow. You just cant stack two diffetent weapons together, unless they specificully say "Addtional" in their description.

While I agree that its great when one player goes all monty haul in the game I have found it is normally the person lagging behind who tends to win. I am glad you broke that unfair cycle!

Ah, now might be the time to resort to cheating.

Just thoughts that I would give a heads up on all the work M.r Reaper has done. He has set up an online version of Adventurer for people to participate in. If you have not had a chance to play yet, this is a great way to start.

Head on over to the Dragonsfoot.org forums and join in one of their online versions of Adventurer run by the infamous Mr. Reaper.

You can check this thread here for when a game night be going on:

Analyzing the deck . . for fun.

Post by Tadhg »

So, after playing the game a few times, I thought about drawing the castle just for fun and so was looking at the room cards and and visualizing the castle and such. Some very cool room names.

Thinking of Hogwart's and Ravenloft Castle got me going . . .

Anyway, before doing that I decided to lay out the cards and just for fun began to categorize them thinking about the room layout and so, wondered a bit about the other cards and the deck in general.

So, here's a brief recap of my deck for your review and comments (if there are any):

83 total -

4 heroes

7 traps

8 obstacles

1 stationary object (Golden Portal)

11 unguarded treasures

2 magic fountains

3 vampire brides (ambush)

and

47 rooms ~ including

5 halls

4 stairs (2up/2down)

3 bedrooms

1 crypt

and others - great names for them as well.

A couple of questions for y'all and/or Kerry.

Would all boxes contain the exact same thing or is there some randomness? Either way no issues at all for me.

I did have one set of doubles - random? (it was 2 solariums).

I played for the first time today and won! It was a 3 player game. I immediately went to the website and placed an order. I love this game! My gaming group is planning on having a convention in the near future and I've already decided to run an Adventurer the Card Game tourney. Thanks for a cool game!

Thanks yourself Dagger4192. How long did the 3 player game take and what hero did you play?

Also very soon there will be a new hero that you can add to your Adventurer set so that you can play up to 5 people at once.
