To those who expressed interest in the Star Wars game I posted about awhile ago (thread is here):
Sorry I haven't posted an update in a long time, I have not forgotten about the game I was planning. However, all the homebrew rules I was working on for that game were saved on my computer hard drive, and I did not get around to making emergency copies. Well, my computer ended up dying, and all my files, documents, everything was lost to the great void of hardware malfunctions and software glitches.
I'd be willing to try pulling my thoughts together again, but it would take a bit of time to work everything out and get it down on paper once more. However, we'd need a full group of people that were interested in playing before I embarked down that road again. Alternatively, I was considering running a C&Cish campaign set in my homebrew fantasy setting, if more people would be interested in that sort of game.
I would like to run an RPG campaign again, but what would you guys more prefer: science fiction or sword and sorcery?
Update: Online RPG Game
If you still have your HD you can probably get it "mirrored" for about $75.00 so you can have all the files you had saved back.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I got the computer working again, but I had to reinstall Windows. So, I think everything might be permanently lost now. I don't think what I lost would really be worth $75 to recover anyway, but then again I'm a cheapskate.
Thanks for the tip, though.
Is anyone still interested in me running a SKYPE game?
