12 days order?

Post by shane »

Am I the only one who hasn't received their xmas order? I've emailed the troll twice about it, but no response as of yet...

Anyone else still waiting?

Not me. Got mine on New Years Eve.

I find it strange that no one from TLG has responded back to you though.

I'd e-mail the heck out of them. Maybe the spammer-killer is intercepting your signal. Gotta keep trying.

Is this not the weekend of Winter Dark? If so, Steve has likely not even seen his email for several days. It will be taken care of around Tuesday, when Steve is back. If I could, I would resolve it, but I can't.

S'ok, I can wait. Just wondering if I fell through the cracks or just wasn't waiting long enough.

I have the boxed set and the FGII ruleset to tide me over.

My christmas order took 14 days to get to me if I recall correctly.

I know this won't be much comfort, but I'm waiting for Day 6 and Day 12 of my X-Mas orders.

However, I'm also up in Canada and it's taken 3 to 4 weeks on average in the past. Also, I know that some of the orders took a few days before they were sent out (and the 12th day only sent out to me earlier this month).

I'm not worried!
Since you are in the States, and considering everything else going on and the con, it might take a few days before you get a response. If you still don't get a response by the end of next week, I'd give them a call direct to see what's happening.

M

*EDIT* ... Just a few minutes after posting this, the postman came knocking on my door to deliver my TLG orders (they were combined together).

Steve said all the orders have gone out. So, those still waiting, he said he'll be back monday or tuesday. Drop him a line and he'll track the order for you.
Bear in mind, orders went out over the course of a couple of weeks. So depending on where you live, and when the order was sent, can factor into delivery time.

Heh; I haven't received mine yet either, but I'm not surprised, considering the distance it has to travel. Hopefully, it'll turn up sometime in the next couple of weeks; it's something to look forward to, anyway.

I ordered four of the days and have received all of them but there was a problem with last one I received. It was Day 3 and both items had been opened which I was ok with because I was going to open them anyway. The LA Essentials box did not seem to have the correct starting module (I was ok with that) The real concern was with the "The Hall of Many Panes" as it only had three books and these were two Book 1s and one Book 3. I sent them an email yesterday or the day before but have not heard back from them about it. Would anyone who has this item be able to confirm for me exactly what should be in it.

With the Winter Dark Con, it might take a few days before they get to you (it started yesterday afternoon). However, they will correct the problem. Also some of their back stock is not wrapped which might give the impression that it was opened. More often than not, the stuff I order from TLG doesn't have the plastic wrapping. Come to think of it, I'm hard pressed to think of a single title I got direct from them that *was* wrapped in plastic.

With regards to the LA Box Set, if your referring to the introductory adventure 'Moon Slaves', you'll find that it starts on page 72 of the LA Essentials book from the box set. That was something that fooled me as well as a few others too, though it worked out at my benefit at the time.

But with your Hall of Many Panes, the best thing I could suggest is to sit tight for now since I imagine it will also take a couple of days to get caught up again once they get back. if you don't hear back from them by the end of next week (the 18th), try giving them a call.

Oh... and I almost forgot: In terms of contents, aside from the 3 module/campaign books, there is a fourth booklet for the Illustrations & Maps (20 pages). There was also an "Aid" available uniquely as a Download which can be found here:
http://trolllord.com/files/hompplayeraid.pdf

Hope that helps some!

Wow, Gamley. That is probably the worst order story I have every heard from TLG. Seriously. I hope all is taken care of soon for you. Wow.

Ill let Steve know. He's not looking at his email right now cause he's out of town. But I can get a hold of him.

Thanks for all the replies to my story. I am sure things can be resolved. I have ordered from them in the past and not had any problems and as I said three of the four days were good (wish I had that luck with weather on vacations). I will post here and let everyone know the resolution.

Hey folks,

I'll tackle order problems in the morning. I know someone is missing a Day 7 Deluxe set, one person missing a HOMP book (PM me I've not gotten any emails with your address/name) and a few other issues.

We'll get it worked out right quick!

Thanks!

Steve

Hate to be a pest but it is coming up on three weeks and I have not seen the replacement book yet. Can someone please let me know when the replacement book was shipped. I know in the end it will probably not mean anything but this is beginning to affect my willingness to purchase anything from your company in the future.
