The A Serires Map 1 from A Knight Rising

I posted in the module forum a couple of days ago inquiring into whether or not anyone had a "player's map" for the map that came with the free adventure A Knight Rising. I wanted to use the map as a hand out but not reveal key locations such as The Wicked Cauldron, Fountain of Hope, Bubbling Cauldren, Vargolg, etc. I loved Peter's map so much I was hoping there would be a player's map floating around. Well I got impatient and decided I would try my hand and graphic alterations with GIMP. Using the program I air brushed out and smudged out all of the locations I did not want revealed. (Some efforts were better than others.)

Having put the time into cleaning up the map to the best of my talentless ability I wanted to share it with community but figured I better get the Troll's and Peter's blessing first. My guess is it would be okay given that the map with the locations was included in the FREE adventure, but to be on the safe side I want to get permission.

Do I have it?

I can't give permission, but I can say this: usually these things are handled by submitting the idea to Peter and Steve, and then waiting for a response. Both emails can be found easily by looking in the Rules forum.

Permission

Hey Nwelte.

You have our permission to post the altered players map from Rising Knight. Please put the copyright symbol and "Copyright Troll Lord Games, 2008" on the map.

Thanks!

Steve

Thanks. I will put the copy right on it.

Any one interested in the map? or want to host it someplace for the community to have access to?

Yeah, I am interested. I can host it too, but my wife still hasn't put up Rhu's map, so I have no idea how long it will take to get it put up.

Treebore, no worries.

I put my map up on Imageshack. You probably didn't see my post. It'll be better that way, cause I can continue to change and improve it and upload it at anytime.

Thanks for hosting it, though.

So, I'll recommend Imageshack over Photobucket, because it allows large images.

Me, too!

Me too. I'm starting to run that one now. Only had one bugbear encounter, and the party went to Malforten. Haven't even gotten into the meat of the adventure yet. Stephen C, it's been nearly 5 years ago since I met you and Todd at Egyptian Campaign in Carbondale. I bought the initial C&C releases then, and I'm just now running my first game. At least I continued to buy all of the C&C stuff up until now. No down time between modules, I guess.
