town and city help

Post by Shinydemon »

I need a book or pdf of generic cities and towns. I have the JG Villages I & II which are great, but they really are villages. I need something with larger population capacity.

Well, off the top of my head, TLG has a d20 supplement called Cities & Settlements which might be something you could use. They have the very small (like a Thorp) to small towns with a population of around 1500 to 2000 people. They have adventure hooks for each one too.

Aside from that, I've typically designed what I've needed using such books as City Works (from the Legends & Lairs series by Fantasy Flight Games) as a guide.

Anyone else have suggestions?

Personally this just proves to me too many people are not aware of the awesomeness of Harn supplements or their free stuff at lythia.com

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Oh, yeah, that site. I don't visit it often, since I don't find the majority of it to be of use to me... sometimes, I prefer to not have everything spoon-fed.
