Forum: Castle Keeper's Guide

Post by Radagan »

Hi,

I was wondering what one must do to be allowed to read/contribute to this forum. Is it for Troll Lord Games employees only? I've done a lot of customization of games in general, and I'm in the process of porting to C&C my favorite content from previous versions. I'd like to contribute if I can.

Cheers,

-R.

The forum was for those who had signed a NDA. It is no longer an active forum, but was never "for TLG employees only."

Heh, I think they closed it because of so much material. I'm sure there was enough for a CKG II!!
J/K - not about the loads of excellent material but about the CKG II. Of course, who knows what the future will bring?

[Btw, just my opinion, I have no inside knowledge of what will go into the book or plans for future releases!]

Ah, NDA--that makes sense. Annoying, but it makes sense.

I hope they get this out soon. It's not that I think the game is flawed as is, which is not at all my feeling. It's just that I have enjoyed the clarity of the game design thus far, and would like to see their opinions on good options and extensions to the system.

Actually speaking, if the current CKG is going to be the same page count as the PHB and M&T, there is no reason not to have a CKGII. The material in the CKG forums is quite extensive, with some farging great ideas! I call for CKGII!

I thought my NDA was all inclusive. I had never been able to get into that forum.

Guess not.

Folks had to specifically request wanting in. If we didn't hear from someone, they didn't get added.

I agree. I like having lot's of options that are just that: optional. It's a great way to keep the game new for those of us that like a few more nuts and bolts to twidle in our game.

But hey, let's get a freak'in CKG before we let these guys even start talking about a CKG II.

Or, with permission, perhaps there will be more SG products...

Absolutely! I'm just waiting for your SG1 to be available for sale. I plan on picking it up along with a couple of other things. Over Christmas I learnt the hard way not to place more than one order close together with TLG. I still haven't gotten everything, but hopefully it's all in the mail now.

Cheers,

-R.
