And isn't it odd that the Count almost always seems to appear at the end of the deck?? At least for me anyway, seems like 9 times out of 10.

That's been my experience as well! Count has been one of the last three or four cards in almost every game we've played. Kerry must have used some magic on the deck.

I have to agree. The count always seems to find a way to hide at the bottom of the castle in my games. Which is weird since it is quite possible to have a winner on the 2nd round of the game.

Round 1, get a stake. Round 2 draw the Crypt and get a lucky roll and you win.

Oh, and help Stuie out, use him as a referral so that he gets a free card. You can never have enough Crowns of the Immortals.

Someone from another site tried to refer me but couldn't figure it out.
They said the emailed you, so hopefully you can get it sorted.

I also purchased the game and Designer Cards without knowing about the Refer A Friend Card, The Crown of the Immortals. How can I still get one?

Tried the game on Saturday. Went well. One odd thing: the Count was the last card twice in a row, and, its rather disturbing when he's last and the player's can't kill him (ie, no stakes.) Why is that weird? Well, since he goes back into the "remainder of the deck" (and there is none if he's the final card), it just means the game is over.

Serleran,

When the count is the last card, and he is not defeated you should recycle the discard pile and shuffle Lodrac back into it. The reason for this is that it gives everybody who didnt get a stake a new chance to get one.
