Are you ready to strap on your mithril chain mail, take the elven sword off of the mantle and dust off your battered brass lantern? Are you prepared for the adventure of a lifetime?
Our gaming group has some openings and we would like to invite you to join us!
In the finest Gygaxian tradition, our group is a hearty mix of immersive roleplaying, bold combat, all topped with a gallon of fantasy adventure! Come live out your wildest dreams in our campaign!
We meet on Saturdays, and I can reached at azog@bellsouth.net . Currently, we are using the Castles & Crusades rules, but eventually we'll be moving to 4th Edition D&D.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
David Jackson

[Baton Rouge, Louisiana] Gateway to Fantasy Adventure!!
David,
My best wishes for a good game - sadly the wife and I no longer live in BR (she grew up there and I went to LSU for several years for my doctorate). We ran one hell of a Greyhawk campaign, a Kalamar game, all before we moved to Wis. and I discovered C&C.
I honestly don't know this guy's number or e-mail, but one of the best players I ever had should still be around there - his name is Andre Chapoy - he is a local actor and works for Cox cable in production (or at least he did). This guy is just plain good at role-playing.

John,
Thanks for the heads-up. Do you think he would be interested (and not completely freaked out if I contact him??)?

Don't see why not - if he is still there you should probably be able to track him down through Cox cable... you can just introduce and say you met John Wright on message boards and I suggested you contact him about gaming. Don't know if he even does it that much anymore, but ya never know.

I'll give him a call. Thanks for the heads up!
Meanwhile, anybody else in Baton Rouge looking for some high adventure?
