Help making a video collage for Gary's memorial gathering

Post by KRBourgoine »

I have been charged with making a video/slideshow collage of pictures of Gary Gygax that will play at the Informal Memorial Gathering for him on Saturday.

I am looking for help gathering nice photos of Gary from around the web. Anybody who has a bunch or can collect some it would be greatly appreciated if you could zip them up into one file and email them to me. I will then combine them all into one set and show them on Saturday.

here is my email address: krbourgoine@gmail.com

Thank you very much.

I have posted the request at The Acaeum; if anyone has pictures of Gary, its the collector-hoarders. I hope to have more word soon.

I know, back in the 3e (pre-3.5e) days, Eric Noah had a bunch of photos on EN World when it was "his" site.

Perhaps an email or phone call can get it done? Eric was most cordial to me when I emailed him back in 2001 or so.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for KR, but it's from the Winter Dark II OD&D game at Gary's in January (me on the left).

As you can see, we're all chuckling as Gary regales us with a funny story during a brief pause in the action - Greyhawk Dungeon circa 1972:

It occurs to me that you're probably either overwhelmed or pressed for time, so I'll zip up a few from summer and winter and send them.

Still trying to make it Saturday, don't know at this point.

Regards,

Rhu.

Will the slideshow be made available online at some point for those of us unable to attend? That would mean a lot to a lot of people.
