I heard that he was diagnosedwith terminal cancer and has less than a year to live.

God, I hope that's not true. What a terrible week.......

My thoughts are with you Dave.

I have not heard this about Dave Arneson, though it is true about Bob Bledsaw (founder of Judges Guild) and Erick Wujcik (a long-time writer for Palladium) unfortunately. We will lose major icons of the industry in a pretty short period, so we must let those who are legends know what they mean to us, and carry them in every game-thing we do. Death is a disease we cannot find a cure for, but we can fight it with hope, love, and community... and, thanks to Gary Gygax, we have all of that as roleplayers.

I hope it's not true but that's the rumor going around. I figured if anyone knew, it'd be some of the Trolls.

ahh...good news. Sounds like while Dave does have some health issues, it's not nearly as bad as the rumor says. In fact, it sounds like he's more heathly than he's been in quite a while.
