Best way to order books and 3rd print?

Hello,

Should I use Paizo to order online? I sent an email to troll lords last night inquiring about using PayPal, but no response yet and I have a feeling that's not the best way to go.

Also, I have the 1st edition C&C Players Handbook. Is the 3rd edition so much better that I should get it too?

The Trolls are still in Lake Geneva, from Gary Gygax's passing... give them a day or two to grieve and come home. Ordering from them is the best way, but you can certainly order from anyone else, if you feel you must.

As for what printing to get, the 3rd one has all the most up-to-date errata and rule fixes, and has a nice layout... so, all considered, it is better than the 1st printing.

Things are probably still up in the air with TLG over the death of Gary, but ordering from them is the way I like to do it.

Yes, the 3rd printing is such an improvement over the first I would buy it. In fact I did. 3 of them.

I have had great success with ordering from the Trolls over the phone. I have heard others complain about slow reply times to e-mails (the Trolls readily acknowledge being backed up by 3+ weeks on e-mail reading from time to time), but phone calls work great. The turn-around on my phone orders has been very fast.

Ya I concur --

The phone is the best way - if you can order by phone the stuff comes really quickly.

The 3rd printing is worth it if you only have the 1st so far. Hell, I have 1 2nd and 1 3rd of PHB and 1 1st and 1 2nd of M&T.

I agree. Ordering from the Trolls is one of the easier ways. But, with the circumstances, you may want to wait a few days or order thru other avenues. Oh, definitely the third print, has the most up-to-date info.

Heh, might want to edit your post and title to "3rd print" rather than "3rd edition" to avoid confusion for people viewing.

I've always used PayPal for ordering from the Trolls, with great success.

I believe there is a TLG friend/employee manning the store - Marc Sandy, so either way you should be able to place an order.
