A Thanks to Everyone from TLG Concering Gary

Post by cleaverthepit »

I would like to extend a thank you to everyone who has posted their condolences, memories and thoughts concerning Gary. it is nice to see that so many people cared so deeply and were positively effected by Gary and his works.

It must be said that your words have impacted the Gygax family significantly. I think they were overwhelmed and gladdened by the outpouring of sympathy. It has made their journey that much easier and assuaged much grief in the telling.

And thank you guys for making the channels available and for all that you did at the funeral! Everything was very nicely done! Made things just that much easier to handle.

And for those of us "not close by", this forum sure made us feel close.

Thank you.

Davis chenault.

I would like to mirror my brother's sentiment. I know that Ernie, Luke and Heidi all spent hours reading the thoughts and comments about their dad and it did much to blunt the pain they were and continue to suffer. They were amazed and gratified, sad and happy all at once. For that alone Gary would have been thankful, but too for the outpouring for his life's work and the knowledge that so many people were able to derive so much fun from what he crafted and started.

So thank you all for taking the time to honor his memory and remember his works.
