Indeed, well enough.
But have you noticed how many 3E-isms have worked their ways into stories about the DM of DMs? Weird.

Yep. Most people don't know any better, so I tend to ignore it, even though it makes me want to slap someone and say "System Shock, dummy!".

I still think the Wired online article was a better piece of work - better research, no throwaway glib remarks and a far more engaging narrative style - but, as far as codas go, it could have been a lot worse.

Check it out! He's got his LA books out. Lejend Master's Guide on top.
I played a game of LA at that very table. And Gary was sitting just as he is in that picture. I was sitting just to his left playing a mischievous Kobold Enchanter. What a great game.
