Yay! Collection Day Score

Post by serleran »

So, I've been cutting way back on my collecting of stuff, simply because I am supposed to be saving the money for other reasons, but I couldn't resist myself this last Saturday...

Grabbed myself:

Near Mint monochrome (1st print) T1: The Village of Hommlet

Near Mint monochrome (1st print) G2: The Glacial Rift of The Frost Giant Jarl

Near Mint Earthdawn Journal #7 [only need 2 more for the complete set]

Arcane Mysteries of Barsaive [brings the needed books down to 3 for a complete Earthdawn collection]

Cyborg Commando Adventures I - III (yeah, so what some people say its the worst game ever designed... I like it!)

Near Mint Tunnels and Trolls Solo Dungeon IV: Naked Doom (1st print)

Near Mint The Spartan #9 (the Warlock issue)

GW1: Legion of Gold

and...

Bob, Lord of Evil: A Humorous Horror Roleplay Game

Just thought I'd share.

Good finds.

I know how you feel about Cyborg, I feel the same about Synnibar. People say it sucks, but I have seen far worse, and I like it.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I played in a 3 year long Synnibarr campaign when I was younger. It was some of the most fun I have ever had. WIth the GM we had, it never felt stupid or even over the top. Man those were the days!

I hear ya. I personally thought it was one of the most "balanced" high powered game systems I have ever seen. Certainly better done than RIFTS.
