I'm writing reviews (and painting for them) at Wargames @ Nordalia of course, have one more Yggsburgh Module to finish - maps are turned in at least, some of the detail work is done, but the baby (Jan 30th for those not in the know, after many years without an infant ) interrupted that, need to get back to it. I've also been researching the Seafaring book for the World Builder series, which I took over about a year ago but Yggsburgh additions kept putting off. I'm on an advisory board for a miniatures manufacturer, which is a surprising amount of time researching.
And running two C&C campaigns that I develop nearly all of the material for - in fact, I need to send that email with the scan of the nasty cartoon that one of my players made to the author for the one module I've run recently...
Been trying to find the time to get in on a Twilight:2000 game that is being run over OpenRPG by one of the other Nordalians, but it's just not working out. Either I need more time in the day, or to quit my day job, I think.
Don.

Gamma World for C&C (Not Sanctioned)
Hey me too If you wouldn't mind swapping notes Id love to take a look at what you have come up with so far
Myself, Ive been working on (as mentioned above) a Gamma World/SIEGE conversion (for the Thursday Night random game group), and started documenting my House rules for my Randomly scheduled face to face C&C Night Below campaign.
A while back I was working on merging Fallout PnP with the SEIGE engine, but that has taken a back burner for the time being (damn you real life! always getting in the way of my gaming goodness)

I am trying to design my own rule system.
I like what C&C has done, but I just am not completely satisfied. I am shooting for a system that old schoolers can enjoy, but has enough crunchy bits that the new gen gamers can have enough to chew on.
I decided why try to improve someone elses creation rather than create my own?
I have a simple base mecahnic, character generation scheme, and am now trying to find time to detail the archetypal classes.
I have found it a huge task while working full time, going to college, having a hobby, volunteering in youth sports, and trying to plan for a wedding.

I hear you. This sort of thing would be impossible -- and indeed the entire hobby would probably collapse -- if it were not a labor of love.

Thanks man! The playtesters had a great time from all accounts. The manuscript should go in to layout in a week or two.

Aside from FDG model releases we've got slated through the summer, I'm trying to squeeze in some models for my home C&C campaign of buildings from Yggsburgh. Gary had described some of the architecture to me about a year ago and I always wanted to take a stab at seeing what it would look like in card stock.

Hey Tom, have you ever looked into providing printed "packs" of your stuff? Is it too costly to risk? I just ask since it costs me a dollar per sheet to print at Staples you might get enough of a price break on print runs to be able to sell them cheaper than I can get them printed.
I wonder if a POD site could do it cheaper than Staples?

We've examined it and keep coming up with a price point that is too high. Have you looked into color laser printers? The price per print is about 20 cents with my HP.

I saw an HP color laserjet a few months back for around $250 at Staples, and the HP website has refurbished ones for under $200 from time to time.

Working on H&A for Crusader. I took a big bite and the serious crunch happens in the upcoming issues (I'm working issue #11 right now, and #12 starts detailing the house rules).
Alongside that, working on the module I promised Steve about three years ago. The module will be set in Acton Dinsbury, to tie in with the Crusader stuff.
Working on CKG stuff. The last I heard from Davis I'm supposed to be working on elves, but that was ages ago and I need to check in. I already sent some material on effective roleplaying of NPCs and monsters.
Working on a project with Sieg, but not sure of the status. Steve never made an announcement so I'm figuring it's on hold until some things are worked out. Yes, I'm intentionally being vague, especially since Sieg didn't mention it in his post.
Working on some plots and props for a LARP I've been involved in. No, not Vampire.
To Dos:
Download Fantasy Grounds C&C ruleset. Create new ruleset for homebrew/Crusader campaign.
Paint some minis
Work my way through the Tome of Ultimate Mapping

I have added two more Siege Gears (SG product line) to my plate, but have some other things to finish before I can dive into them.
Also, I have 5 modules in the T series to get finished. Well, at least, skeletized -- Steve is finishing them.
All work and no play make serleran a fun boi.

The alternate cover is also very beautiful. Thanks for the support! MF should be released within 2 weeks, assuming the hard cover proof comes back and looks ok.

I've looked around a bit on the forums and website but I didn't see anything about other companies developing products using the CnC rules set. Is there a CnC OGL? I'm working on something using Green Ronin's True 20 system (which is also D20 OGL based) so I was just curious if I could also release it using the CnC rules set. It sounds like a great system.

There is not a C&C OGL that I am aware of, and certainly nobody has come forward to say that they are doing anything else for C&C other then the regulars writers.

If you want to release something specifically for Castles & Crusades [i.e. something that involves the Siege Engine and various other C&C specific things that are not open content] then you need to contact Troll Lord Games and talk to them about it.

Stuff for Starmada, Cold Navy, and Iron Stars
Anxiously awaiting the release of StarSiege (which will give me even more stuff to work on.)

That damned module which sucks up time from my other writing work! I keep leaving it in the metaphoric woods to frickin' DIE, but it keeps coming back and saying, "Just write one more encounter -- do it for your pals on the TLG forums!"
I purposely decided not to pitch the thing until it was in complete work-draft form (which is NOT how one freelances successfully , as I'm sure you all know).
My hope was, my impulse to finish it would fade, and it would go away, half-finished -- but it keeps coming back like a gorram zombie!!!
I begin to think I'll have to actually finish the [very naughty compound word censored] thing to be rid of it. If I pitch it and the Brothers C pass, at least I'll be _free_!
Castles & Crusades, what have you DONE to me!
