cardstock minitures
As miniatures become more and more expensive I have been looking for other options, and I found exactly what I was looking for! I have seen many paper miniatures before, but these are beyond what even I expected.
OneMonk is a really incredible company that has a growing array of Fantasy and Sci-Fi miniatures that can be used for roleplaying and wargaming. Each set includes 8 individual miniatures, complette with independant stances, and full front and backs. The sets can be bought individually, and as bundle packages that include both 4 sets and 8 sets.
The best thing about them is really the fact that they are downloadable as a PDF and printed imediately. The figures are made to be cut out around the edges and OneMonk also supplies amazing textured bases that come in many many different sizes, colors, and shapes.
You really must check out these figures, you will not regret it! Also they make a great altrenative to buying those D&D miniatures, and my brother uses them for full complette 40k Armies.

Coreydm676, please don't spam us with your advertising. Personally I don't like when someone don't say things openly; it's like you are trying to deceive us. I would have much prefered if you had said the first time that is was your work you were showing us, and then, just going back to the original thread and resurecting it in showing us new minis or at least new photos. However, I don't like to be taken for an idiot by what I perceive as a spamming intent.
Other than that, the miniatures look good, except on one point: I fear that the assemblage work (putting them on heavy cardboard then cutting them) must be particularly difficult and tedious.

You know, they aren't awesome, but they look good enough to do the job better than I can. Plus they will go great with stuff I have already bought from Fat Dragon, Fiery Dragon, and others.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hmmm. Looks like your right. Same post pretty much word for word, and same picture. Plus It looked like they were sets available already printed in stores. Doesn't look like it under closer inspection.

Tried the cut out miniatures before. They work good in a pinch or on a tight budget, but the hastle of keeping them standing correctly and just getting them to work properly is not worh it. If I want something cheap and easy, I will stick with the circular or square tile markers.

I snagged something like this from a craft store for a few bucks:
http://www.michaels.com/art/online/disp ... Num=pc0747
I use Paint (or equivalent program) to paste together a bunch of pictures of whatever (skeletons, goblins, were-bunnies, etc.), print it out on cardstock, and punch out the 1" circle around the heads.
I'm not a big miniatures fan, but if I ever need them I can whip out a few of these instead. It's slightly better than just using pennies, half eaten Frito's, or balls of lint...
