I personally have never seen this commercial - in fact I didn't know that they did TV spots. Did anyone ever see this?

Too bad I don't fit into my parachute pants, these days.
(just kidding -- I never wore parachute pants -- really... I swear...)

I never seen this on TV, but have seen it posted on several forums, funny stuff. Had I seen such a commercial I might have avoided D&D altogether.

The green-robed Dwarf at the end has sold me. Where can I buy this product?

That commercial is fun to watch. And I do wonder how much airtime it actually got?
And yeah, the clothes in the 80s were something else. I remember wearing a pair of turquoise jams.

I saw this commercial once or twice, but its not what made me want to play. I blame that on the D&D cartoon. Corny, and lame, I know... but dangit, I also had MASK, Thundercats, Z-Force, Robotech, and Thundarr re-runs to inspire me, too! Cartoons used to be cool. Tom and Jerry rule!

Seems vaguely familiar. I think I remember that goofy blond guy (DM?) with the preppy sweater/shirt combo.

I think all DMs (CKs, GMs, etc) can appreciate seeing people becoming excited and sweaty over an adventure (even if cheesily acted). The pans over the nervous faces are priceless and something I usually strive for in my players.

Ok, but seriously....can you IMAGINE trying to play using a table that small? Just looking at it makes me feel claustrophobic. Of course, I've played games with players whilst driving down old logging roads in a beat up ford pickup before....
