Hmm, I've never actually watched a "mad/slasher" movie. Think it's time??

Heh, perhaps I'll surf the cable waves tonight instead of the internet waves.

Now, one question, if I may . . .

Are these movies actually scary or just uproariously funny??

Though there might be some chills in the first two Friday the 13ths it is truly nothing more than a good time. My friends and I cheer for Jason and keep up running commentary throughout the films.

I hate fridays the 13th. We're a bit of a superstitious lot in my line of work at times and we're generally agitated by these days and full moons.

If your are going to watch one, then just watch the part IV. It's one of the more entertaining and gory ones. It's really stupid but fun none the less.

Part 1 is okay and 2 bored me to tears. And if I remember correctly 3 wasn't all that great either.

Thanks. Are you sure I won't miss any character development or story continuity by skipping ahead to the forth film??

I'd prolly watch them in order if I were you just because I'm anal that way. Jump into the story in the middle? Absurd!

Well let me put it this way: I cannot for the life of me remember any of the character's names from any of the parts I've seen.
