Anyone seen the Jumpers movie?
I thought it was a pretty cool idea for teleportation -- both for the spell and the psionic version.
Later on, I was thinking about what they could've done for teleport- sorry, jumping into space with enemies on their tail!
Any other thoughts?

I havent seen it but just read that theyre making a sequel, so the fans can rejoice. The idea seems cool but I like to limit teleportation effects in my games for many reasons so I doubt it would work for my group.

Great concept for a movie/series, but the script sucked. Very poorly executed movie. I'm glad I waited to rent it on video. I would have been moderately pissed if I had paid full admission price at a theater.

Movie has such great promise, but it never realized it's full potential. Besides the FX and what little action scenes there where, the rest of the film is forgettable.
I haven't read it, but apparently the novel is waaaay better than the film version (which usually isn't saying much when it comes to novel to film conversions), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumper_(novel)

Just watched it. Meh.
Great special effects, so-so story and acting, and the action drags for the first half of this short movie (90 minutes... if I had paid full price in the theater for this movie, I would have been pissed!).
Oh yeah, and the ending was lame. Gee, can't wait for the sequel.
But sure, good ideas for teleportation abilities.
