Fantasy: C&C with a little AD&D 2nd ed sprinkled in (I cut my gaming teeth on 2nd edition AD&D, but I love the SEIGE system too much to go back to 2nd.. so I brought what I liked of 2nd into C&C)

Sci-Fi: Haven't played much Sci-Fi, but Id probably say Star Wars (d6)

Near-Future: Shadowrun or GURPS: Cyberpunk (depends if I want D&D in my cyberpunk or not )

Post Apocalyptic: Gamma World or my heavily houseruled version of Fallout PnP (depending on how gritty/silly I want)

Supers: I only ever played Heroes Unlimited once Way back in High school... and TBH I don't remember much about it. but I guess its my favorite by Default

Multi-Genre: GURPS

Comedy: GURPS: IOU (ok.. I never actually played it, but I've never played any other comedy RPGs either, so GURPS: IOU being the only one Ive read, I guess it wins by default as well)

Horror: Old WoD, mainly Vampire and Werewolf (but that could have just been a great storyteller rather than the game itself, sometimes its hard to tell)

Western: Go For Your Gun, Aramis Style Although I am really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of Aces and Eights

Breakdaddy, I like the way you think. Although, I've never played Dark Heresy, so I can't speak to that one.

It's great--it's got little hand puppets and everything!

Fantasy: AD&D

Dark Fantasy: Warhammer Fantasy

(don't get me wrong, enjoy C&C as well, and probably have played it more than most of the other systems besides Warhammer Fantasy in the past year or two...but AD&D 1e still wins out for me).

Sci-Fi: Star Frontiers

Post-Apocalyptic: Omega World (small little D20 print up from a mag from a few years ago during all the D20 hype).

Cyberpunk: Cyberpunk.

Espionage, Horror, Western...etc.: Don't really play any of these so, don't really have a favorite.
