Ahhhh Married Life

Just got hitched on Saturday! To a wonderful woman I might add. But more to the point of these forums, all my groomsmen recieved C&C player's handbooks. After drinking and eating and a little more drinking we got a few minutes to roll up some characters at the reception. But then more drinking happened and we didn't get to play till the following night when I led them through a C&C version of The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan. My new wife was a tad upset cause she didn't get to play but we plan on launching into Castle Zagyg shortly so she's cool. My boo rocks.

Enjoy. My soon-to-be would not want me gaming then... though, I think I'll be inviting some people more accustomed to that sort of thing.

Sieg and I played AD&D the night before our wedding with most of the wedding party, so way to go Cinder! If C&C had existed at the time, I'm sure we would have been playing that instead...

Cool beans--Sieg and I had ours on August 7 (many years ago). August is an excellent month, if I do say so myself. Hope it goes well!

Thanks. Our wedding will take place in Maine and we live in Oregon so it's been a challenge planning, but everything seems all set at this point. I hope. Unfortunately my sweetie only tolerates C&C and has only played once, so I don't see any gaming during our two weeks away. But hopefully my preorder of Upper Works will arrive before we leave and I'll have some wonderful reading between wedding events!

Yes, you are. (face green with envy). Though I do love my sweetie anyway, not being into gaming being her only real fault.

I could probably think of a couple more for mine.

...be careful what you wish for, guys!
One of the disadvantages of having a gamer wife is that they soon get used to all your RPG tricks. They can read your moods and the way you think. This is really rough as I'm usually the CK and IR's usually a player in most games.
The stories of "Married Telepathy" are true; and that's tough on a campaign sometimes.

But....."Killing her favorite character" is so quick! Sure, fun for the first few minutes, but that's it. What's REALLY fun is making the character's life a living hell from which not even DEATH is an escape!!!
Now THAT'S Entertainment!

Heh, heh. Congratulations, Cinderblock and wife. I hope that you found some room for the honeymoon eventually.
