Serleran Going Rhuvein (Heh)

Sorry, Rhu, but I had to include you in the title -- some things just don't die easily.

Anyway, so, I got my custom order kilt today. Yeah. Kilt. Custom order, too. That means its unique, and its been registered with my name, my spelling. Finally, the name will be listed as its supposed to be... no more switched letters and incorrect, bastardized English because some fluke-monkey heard it wrong at Ellis Island or wherever. It was much more expensive than I had been told, at first, but its much cooler than I imagined it would be, too... and all those neat little accessories, too!

Yeah, I like it. Glad to have it, now.

My favorite part is the sporran. Its like a micro bag of holding, really. Anyway, yeah... just thought I'd have a moment to be in glee, for once.

Enjoy the kilt... Don't you just hate the way so many family names have been Americanized.

My last name is German, and should be pronounced that way, even by telemarketers.

Wear it proudly, ye son of Scotland. I just wish the Mrs would let me get one.

Why is it you guys get Kilts and we get lederhosen? I mean, you can actually look cool in a kilt, but Lederhosen spells dork 100% of the time.

Wait, WHAT? You're getting a kilt and talking about a BAG of holding in the same paragraph??

Oh my!!!

No, I don't mind you mentioning me. But DO NOT try and associate me with a kilt!!!

A dress?? Damn right! You bet. But not a kilt.

Sorry, just needed to clarify!

Though it's by no means a traditional kilt, I dig wearing mine on the rare occasions when I can. And the sporran is so very useful.

Of course, you must take a picture and post it!

Yeah, we Deutschlanders have lederhosen, but our swords are longer and heavier.

What, no pictures? Come on serleran, share, we won't tell. Well......

Besides, real Scotish men don't wear kilts, they wear the full tartan!

12 to 15 feet of soft comfy wool wrapped around strong muscular bodies.....aaaahhhh.........no....wait.....nevermind.......

Mine is more of a Highlands style. It is still a kilt, but not Prince Edward style. I don't really like that kind... too modern.
