In my quest for an interesting campaign I found the Jakandor series. Think sword& sorcery style with a nation of egyptian/aztech ish necromancers fighting invading clans of amerindian/norse type barbarians. Both sides think the other is evil so it's not a GvE campaign but rather gray instead. Throw in pet zombies, war meks, and RITUAL MAGIC like in 4e (this is a 2e product) and you got one heck of a odyssey that can be placed in any campaign. The books are cheap to boot. The first 2 books both have maps and a extra dm book and cover the two races. The 3rd is dm stuff and adventures with a detailed map. If you are looking for different this is it.

i'd rather see a campaign based on D. Weber's Oath of Swords books.

This sounded like some pretty interesting stuff. So I just ordered all three books (maps included) and I'm looking forward to mining them for ideas. Thanks for pointing them out.
welcome. knorr rituals are well worth mining, but use the old nonwep pro rules so im using a modified version of the zagyg skills for them. Transfer health is just way to useful, transfers 1d8 hp from the caster to the recipient. Enjoy

Oddly enough, I recently got the first book in the series. I liked it but wasn't sure about getting the 2nd two. If I see an opportunity to pick them up, I will. By the initial looks through it, a lot of the first one can be used as is.

Yea either of the first two can definitely be used buy it's self. Isle of destiny has the same map but is labeled from the mages point of view and indepth history of the spell plaque that wiped them out and the pet zombies (this reminded me of fido). O and necromantic constructed airships.
