Gen Con Releases

Post by Troll Lord »

Hey folks, these are our planned Gencon Releases:

Gary Gygax Castle Zagyg Upper Works (CC)

StarSiege Event Horizon (Siege)

Towers of Adventure by James M. Ward (CC)

Shades of Mist (CC adventure)

Crusader 11

A5 The Shattered Horn (CC adventure)

All are on target, but things can get bumpy as you all know.

Notice the absence of the CKG, lots work has been done, but it just didn't make it. We will try to have preview material there.

Oh yeah. Omote, serle, Treebore, DD, Matthew, Coleston, Rigon, slimy, Julian and a few others are the badest MFs on the forum. They run this place, doncha know.

These guys have taken my lunch money too often, but at least they let me post my nonsense once in a while.

SOBs gave me a wedgie the other day (and I don't wear under drawers)!

Ever the wet blanket, any word on when Teeth of the Barkash Nour will be available? And I take it Peter's awesome cover showing the party of seven adventurers going down the stairs is one of the covers of the sourcebooks inside The Upper Works boxset? And will the remaining Castle Zagyg modules/boxsets be green instead of the grey of Yggsburgh & Dark Chateau or pale tan of East Mark Gazetteer and the various Yggsburgh Town Expansion modules?
ANYWAY, I'll be placing a BIG order (East Mark Gazetteer, all the Town Expansions and Upper Works) probably in 2 weeks. So, at least y'all will be getting a little love (or alot of love, depending on how you view it) from my bank account.

::sigh::

I'm gonna be broke before I get to DragonCon at this rate. I've still got to get all the DragonLance books as well as several Robotech RPG books. Sheesh.

Gary Gygax Castle Zagyg Upper Works (CC)

StarSiege Event Horizon (Siege)

Towers of Adventure by James M. Ward (CC)

Shades of Mist (CC adventure)

Crusader 11

A5 The Shattered Horn (CC adventure)

Dear God, how am I going to afford all of this? Not to mention that I still need Crusaders 9 and 10. Towers of Adventure will definately have to wait. I will definately purchase it in the future, but I'm more of a pre-made adventure/plot point kind of guy. Looks like the Trolls, and Pinnacle Entertainment will get me for every bit of $170-nearly $200. But, Dragoncon is also around the corner, so I may have to be very selective. Either way, it's a great line up of products. They'll all be purchased...eventually.

Heh... I am broke for more purchases this summer.

The last check I can write for awhile is for the Crusader subscription renewal that I'm sticking in the mail as we speak.

That's ok, I'm doing BM's online Castle Zagyg, so better that I wait before purchasing it and reading it all... (I can wait, I can wait...)

Well, at least till my 1st paycheck of the year in Oct.

Of course, the reason is I went on a spending spree this summer - I have all things C&C right now, excepting only the 3 Inzae mods (nothing wrong - just waiting on those as we're doing a full Aihrde campaign).

But yeah, gonna have to pony up for all three in the fall.

Somebody mentioned the lunch money. These products are definately going to cut into my Gencon White Castle and Steak and Shake chilli and milkshake budget. Dear God. When you think about, that's an explosive combination. Maybe losing some of that lunch money's not so bad after all.

Do you hear that sound?

There! There it is again.

I think it's the sound of tumbleweed rolling through my wallet after all this TLG goodness. I'm not going to Gen Con this year ('09 ftw!), sadly, so I have a little more time to prepare for the trouncing my wallet is going to get.

Can't wait!

I'm there with you guys. I spent the last of my "fun" money for the next couple of months on the pre-order for CZ: Upper Works. I still need to save up for Victorious, and for the new Pulp Cthulhu book from Chaosium as well. My wife is going to shoot me.
Plus, I really need to save up so I can come out for the next Troll Con and meet some of you nice folks face to face.

Upper Works

StarSiege

Victorious...

pretty much any CnC product that comes down the pipe...

haha and with crusader going monthly it will soon be time to re-up my subscription That is a good thing Gonna have to get my FLGS to see about picking it up. There is a good crowd now of CnC folks at the shop so maybe they will.

Luckily for the most part my wife just laughs at me. Long as the bills get paid she doesn't much care after that.

I hadn't even thought about that one! Yikes! It looks like it's going to be expensive in the next little while.

I couldn't use it since I made it. That would be tacky. Self-importance and arrogance aren't something I care for.

Did everyone hear that?

On the bright side, I won't have to walk all the way to the bank down the street from Gen Con, I can just deposit all of our daily earnings over at the TLG booth.
