Troll Lord Games

Any Madden players out there? I'm a big Madden fan, and have been since the mid 90s (I was a big Tecmo Bowl fan before that ), and I stopped on the way to work this morning and picked up Madden 09. I'm not as big a fan to be outside a store at 12AM...but if I didn't have to work this morning I might have been.

Why didn't I get sick today?!?

I heard this awful rumor that madden was not coming out for PC.

I think that's true, sir. That's pretty sad news. I can only guess that the PC was the lowest selling "platform" or was the hardest to develop for, but I don't know for sure. But yeah, that definitely sucks.

I played Madden football on my PC back in the days when it was "John Madden Football" and "John Madden Football II" (before they added years to the title) but not since.

PC is probably the only format I'd buy the game for, but I don't like "arcade style" games as much as strategy games. I don't have the dexterity or eyesight required to move the little guys or hit a receiver with a little ball.
Of course, most of the "strategy" football games seem to get too complex. I want one which is medium complexity because if I wanted to memorize a playbook I'd become a real coach.
What I really want is a "coach style" computer football where I can call a play and then sit back to watch a cool graphic of what happens kind of like watching a game on TV. No joystick or DEX required.

It's Brett Favre. What's funny is that it looked like the "Madden Curse" wasn't going to happen this year, seeing how Favre was retired. Then he unretired.

Talk about fate.

Yeah that was a bit tongue-in-cheek as the Madden Curse seemed like it was kicking in. Now we just have to see if Fav-ray spikes himself on the ball or something equally goofy.

Oh, it's obvious who that guy is, but what team is he playing for? It's a mystery.
