You know you're old?

Indigo Rose and I were sitting around a few days ago going through our various character sheets; from C&C, Victorious, Dr Who RPG, and others...and we came to a rather frightening realization.
You know you are old.... When the majority of the characters you play in RPGs are younger than you are.
In the good old days the above ratio was towards characters that were older than yourself... Jr. High, High School and early College students playing characters in the mid-late 20s.
But now, our characters are still (for the most part) in their late 20s early 30s. Liz and I are....let's just say "older than that."
"Old Dragon" Indeed....

Heh, speak for yourself Mike!
My most recent Dwarven character is over twice as old as my middle-aged human self!

Yeah, don't know about you, but I've nearly always played older characters mostly because they're not human... I find human PCs boring.

Chronologically I'm between my rogues and my mages...
at heart any more...I think I got the elves beat.

Hehe...I know what you mean, sieg!
My first character, later NPC that I always identified with, and the one I share my forum name with is still a young 28 years old. Of course he started out a little older than me, back when I was 14 and he was 17 and somehow I blew past him. I have to find his aging secrets!

The old Doctor Who rpg. Source material GREAT. System, somewhat clunky. But, oh the memories! FASA's Doc Who rpg...SAAAALUTE!

Tylermo, Cubicle 7 is releasing a new Dr Who RPG soon if yer interested. I spoke with Angus Abranson of Cubicle 7 at length and it sounds like its gonna be awesome. There was some mention of a Torchwood RPG as well...

Heh, odd. I only have one character younger than myself. But then again that character is a first level illusionist I started in one of Steve's convention games.

I don't think a character older than I am would of much worth. He could not fight, run,see without bifocals, or recall spells. That's why I set by the Hearth and tell tales.
Now where did I leave my lute?

Just FYI, the Dr. Who RPG we're using is Classic Traveller with House rules. The FASA Dr Who stuff is used for reference data but the system itself was too clunky.
