Society News --- Domesday Publishing Permissions

I just wanted to let those who do not already know about this, that, thanks to the efforts of one PIperdog, Domesday has been given rights to publish game-specific materials for the following companies:

Troll Lord Games

Iron Crown Enterprises

Gygax Games (regarding one particular item one time)

More are in the works.

What this means, amongst other things, is we will be able to accept specific game contributions and get them out and about, without having to worry about the genericness of it all. This is fabulous news as it greatly expands the viability of Domesday and lets us do what we set out to do -- get people together who may not play the same game, but have the same thing in common: they are playing.

Submit it all you want, but know this -- ICE does not have the license to use Middle Earth material (and have not had it for years) so they cannot allow someone else to use it. If you wish to do something Middle Earth, you should contact the Tolkien Estate.

Deadline is coming fast!

Also, if anyone is currently not listed on the rolls, get your info to Robert Doyel (Serleran) at ccsociety@gmail.com asap, as we will be publishing an annual "Call of the Rolls" in this issue and each Fall issue thereafter!

There is a thread on the very subject where the topic makes the most sense -- the Society forums.
