Request to Trolls

Post by Treebore »

In case you arne't aware, there is a dozen or two of us who do on line gaming, and several of us CK's would like it if you could make maps from your various products available as PDF download products.

That way we can use them as maps in our on line game as quick and dirty type maps.

So if you could a "Map Pack" of all your products for on line gaming would be pretty darn sweet.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'll second this idea.

Which maps are you looking for specifically?

Excellent idea!

Here are some further ramblings on the matter.

You could sell different grades of maps for different prices to avoid competing with your own products and licenses.

I'd buy low detail 72ppi BlackTooth adventure maps suitable for use with rptools etc today. Of course face to face is best, but you do what you can. The Fantasy Grounds stuff looks tempting and I'm not ready to invest that yet. I didn't get a sense of the map quality being offered there also.

I'm enjoying the game immensely btw, and I've ordered the Castle Zagyg books. The high quality of writing, art, and editing is much appreciated.

I would buy some of them to hyperlink to (or trace into) Campaign Cartographer to be integrated into my homebrew mapping.

Ultimately? All of them.

I like this idea, not so much for online gaming than for extra maps for players. I could get behind that.

I think PDF's of all maps would be great.

KenzerCo did this with their HackMaster modules and it was very popular.
