Ahhh Old Toby...

Post by Julian Grimm »

One of my favorite shops in Springfield Mo is a little place called Just for Him Among the cool Globes, Poker sets and Chess sets is a hell of a Tobacconist set up with a walk in humidor.

I was browsing the new pipe tobacco blends when I came across something that caught my eye Old Toby. I looked twice to see if I saw that right and just had to try it. So now I am typing this after smoking a bowl full of the stuff. Weep all you non-Missourians. I have the finest weed in all the south farthing.

Don't believe it. Just see for yourself.....Link

A combination of allergies and asthma prevents me from feeling any jealousy whatsoever.

Store bought. However after two bowls I haven't really formed an opinion on it. I'm pretty die hard with Carter Hall and the flavor difference is noticeable. It's not bad but is stronger than what I usually smoke. I'll possibly just smoke it when I want something else.

::sighs::

Had to give smoking a pipe almost a decade ago from screwing up my jaw. Nuts! Cool find though.

Nice - I smoke a pipe very rarely - mostly in the summer and the warm parts of fall as an excuse to sit outside. My current favorite is a hazlenut blend.

I haven't smoked a pipe in years, but I'm tempted to order some of that Old Toby - the description sounds good and also says its perfect with a pint of ale.

To be honest, I love the smell of both pipe and cigar tobacco.

However, I'm a severe asthmatic so I cant spend much time around it, but the aroma is wondrous!

Enjoy a pipe full on my behalf.

Whoa! That is so cool. (Now if only I had a spare $2,500 lying around and didn't have about a gazillion dollars worth of home repairs and renovations waiting to be done )

I'll let out my dirty little secret. I'm a die hard Corncob pipe man. I just fell in love with them when I started with pipes and I use them for everyday smoking.
