Thickets? CKG?

Post by Fizz »

Steve's blog post of today (the 14th), is entited `Thickets'. With an entry consisting of nothing but those 3 letters we've all been waiting to see for a long time: `CKG'. Did i miss something? What is Steve trying to say?

I think he's saying they're deep in the thickets of CKG land.

I'm fairly certain he's saying Sasquatch grabbed the manuscript of the CKG and ran off into the thickets.

And I'm pretty sure he's saying fat extraterrestrials have seized the only copy of the CKG manuscript and taken it back to their home world.

Yeah, could have been a typo and he really meant "thickest".

From my favorite website, Dictionary dot com:
Quote:
Thicket: (Noun) Something suggestive of a dense growth of plants, as in impenetrability or thickness.

I am guessing this means the Trolls are feeling a little frustrated, as if they were hacking their way through dense underbrush.

Willing to buy them a machette if it helps!

Expanding from Dictionary dot com
Quote:
Thicket: (Noun) Something suggestive of a dense growth of plants, as in impenetrability or thickness: "the thicket of unreality which stands between us and the facts of life" (Daniel J. Boorstin).

I think it's quite clear that the CKG is lost in the thicket of unreality.

Can't be, we all saw "Bigfoot in a Box" on the TV at Beercon this year. He's dead dude, accept it and face your grief son!

Yeah, I'm curious too. Guess we'll have to wait until the CKG releases in 2012 to see what sort of design skills ol' Sasquatch has.

Perhaps he meant to type "rickets." In which case I wish the lad all the best for his malody.

We're actually going to make seven hand written copies and auction them off like the Tales of Beedle the Bard.

Maybe the CKG is like bigfoot. No one is sure he exists and the only evidence is in blurry photos.
