What happened to A5 ?

Post by moriarty777 »

I'm just curious what is happening with this module... since the latest blog talks about A6 and A7 and even the August edition of Crusader declared it available. Obviously the article was written some time before August so I didn't think too much of that but I did think that it would be released shortly after Shades of Mist.

Anyone?

I'd like to see more of the A series to be certain. I finally started a game of C&C recently. I've been buying the books from Stephen C. and Todd G. since 2003, and had only played C&C at cons. Considering I own practially everything, I thought it was time to actually play it. We've played one or two brief sessions of A0, and will soon move on to Blacktooth Ridge. Hopefully, I can stretch things out enough to insure another A series release or two. Apparently some of the future releases will be co-authored by Stephen and Todd. That's cool. Bring em' on!

Assault on Blacktooth Ridge has a lot of material and is very much open to drop ins (other mods - like Shadows of Halfling Hall), as well as the 2 Blacktooth Ridge PDF mini-adventures.

Our group spend 6 months or so in this area.

Oh yeah, and you can easily use Lion in the Ropes and Mortality of Green, in addition to the rest of the A series while waiting for more releases.

It's got to be somewhere in development or VERY near released. I played a portion of the adventure at GenCon. Or was that Chimera's Roost?

Yep. The blog entry that mentioned the A series has me dangerously optimistic about starting an A series campaign in the near future.

A6 ought to be pretty close on the heels of A5 too.
